| Bio: | You may call her Kate, Katies, or Katet. (Buy her a drink and you can call her Katja). Born in the Nations Capital of the Commonwealth of Australia (aka Van Diemens Land), she was raised in South Australia, home of the Frog Cakes. She relocated to Melbourne in January of 2006, much to the dismay of her former massage clients. Kate is good at her massage, but don't worry, by massage it's real massage, not the kinky stuff - she won't do that even if you do offer to double her money. Kate likes to relax by watching Disney movies, anything funny without Ben Stiller in it, and is addicted to Heroes on TV. She loves the Little Mermaid most of all, with the Pixar/Disney collaborations coming a close second. She was NOT a fan of Happy Feet. Those penguins can die in a fire. She also likes to bake to relax - cupcakes and muffins are her specialty - and one odd quirk is that she cleans when she’s on the phone. Her choices in television programs is also a bit questionable too by the way, favouring shows such as Heroes, Veronica Mars and American Dad! among Family Guy, He-Man and the Masters Of The Universe and The Simpsons. Hex and Dead Like Me also rate a mention. Don't ever mention Hanson (that band that had a minor hit so many years ago) or you'll never get her to shut up! People have tried to educate her in the ways of good, wholesome music (such as Norah Jones) but she's quite a stubborn young lady, and hopefully her tastes will mature as she gets a bit more life experience (and a better CD collection.) Kate used to work for an alternaporn company in Fitzroy, which ran websites known for their pro-woman ethos and boss addicted to decaf-long-black coffee (but not too long), sitting at reception and watching a looped DVD of people having orgasms all day. Prior to that, she worked in a shipping company, in charge of her own little section, balancing invoices and tracking shipping containers in the accounting system. She found that to be insanely boring, but misses her boss terribly. She now works for a company that specializes in event security as the reception/admin bitch, with a truly terrible photo on the company website and a completely made-up spiel about her. At events, she is head bagcheck bitch, and you better believe when she tells you it’s an SLR camera and it’s not allowed inside, she means YO! DOUCHEBAG! LEAVE IT OR TAKE IT HOME. STOP ARGUING. Apart from that, she's not too bad as a person. But don't ever offer her chocolates or she'll eat them all. | |
